Whaller at VivaTech 2026: at the Heart of the Digital Sovereignty Village

VivaTech

Once again, VivaTech asserts itself as the world’s showcase for innovation. Yet beyond the technological buzz of the show, Whaller has chosen a collective and structuring commitment: to take part in the Digital Sovereignty Village, led by the Association Solutions Numériques de Confiance. This is a space conceived not merely to display logos side by side, but to demonstrate that a French trusted digital industry genuinely exists, is organised, and protects both its members and its users.

One Village, One Industry, One Shared Ambition

Numérique de ConfianceThe Digital Sovereignty Village at VivaTech is no ordinary stand. It is the tangible expression of a collective intent, carried by the Comité Stratégique de Filière “Logiciels et Solutions Numériques de Confiance” (CSF LSNC), of which the association numeriquedeconfiance.fr is the operational arm.

This Strategic Industry Committee, recognised by public authorities, brings together French software and digital players who have made trust, security and data sovereignty their core identity — not merely a marketing argument. It coordinates working groups, structures an industry contract, and ensures that the voice of sovereign publishers is heard at the highest levels of decision-making.

Whaller is fully part of this movement. The digital protection capability we provide to our clients (public administrations, sensitive organisations, and demanding enterprises) is not built in isolation. It is strengthened within an ecosystem where complementary players share the same values of independence, transparency and compliance.

Leading Players Uniting to Build an Industry

Alongside us in the village are publishers and solutions we know and respect for their long-standing commitment:

  • The Fab8 members in attendance: Jamespot, Linagora and Jalios, three French pioneers of sovereign enterprise collaboration;
  • Origine France Garantie, guaranteeing the traceability and territorial roots of French digital products and services;
  • Open Internet Project, a collective committed to openness and network neutrality;
  • Incunabula and La Forge, bringing innovative approaches to information management and sharing;
  • L’Alliance, federating sovereign low-code/no-code platforms to accelerate digital transformation without external dependency;
  • Treebal, a secure mobile messaging application that respects personal data;
  • Sahar, a sovereign artificial intelligence and data processing solution;
  • Oodrive, a reference in document management and digital vaulting for sensitive environments;
  • Clever Cloud, a sovereign cloud platform for hosting and application deployment.

This diversity is not window dressing. It illustrates the breadth and maturity of an industry capable of covering an organisation’s entire digital lifecycle, from secure communications to storage, from application deployment to collaboration, from messaging to artificial intelligence, without ever compromising data sovereignty.

Why the Industry Matters as Much as the Product

In our sector, it is tempting to focus on features, performance, and price. These criteria certainly have their place. But in the face of mounting regulatory requirements (NIS2, DORA, Diffusion Restreinte), geopolitical tensions that undermine digital dependencies, and an ever-growing sophistication of cyber threats, the decisive question often becomes: who owns the solution I am using, and where does my data reside?

Answering that question is not the work of a single publisher acting alone. It is the work of an organised industry, capable of producing recognised certifications, training decision-makers, influencing public policy, and creating synergies between complementary players. That is precisely what the CSF LSNC does — and what the Digital Sovereignty Village at VivaTech makes visible, both to the general public and to IT and business leaders.

Whaller DONJON, as a sovereign collaborative platform certified SecNumCloud 3.2 by ANSSI, plays an active role in this collective endeavour. It forms part of a trusted ecosystem that we are helping to strengthen, event by event, partnership by partnership.
