Summarise conversations in one click
In collaborative spaces, discussions can quickly grow lengthy. Whaller (IA)ssistant automatically generates a summary of an entire conversation, including the original message and all subsequent comments.
This action is accessible directly from the contextual menu of any message within a sphere. Users can instantly grasp the key points of an exchange without having to read through everything.
Catch up on unread messages
When a colleague returns after a few days away, they may be faced with a significant number of unread notifications. Whaller (IA)ssistant offers a dedicated feature: “Summarise unread messages”, accessible directly from the notification centre.
The AI produces a structured summary of the latest unread conversations per sphere, allowing users to immediately identify the most important information. This is particularly useful when returning from annual leave.
Improve the quality of exchanges
Whaller (IA)ssistant also supports users in drafting their messages and comments, directly from the text editor. Available features include:
- Correct errors: spelling, grammar and style
- Improve text: enhance style and enrich content
- Generate a reply: short (~50 words) or long (~150 words), based on the context of the conversation
- Convert to Easy Read: adapt text using the Easy Read method (equivalent to the French FALC standard), making content more accessible for people with disabilities, dyslexia, visual impairments, or those who are not fully proficient in the language
Turn discussions into actions
One of the most powerful features of Whaller (IA)ssistant is the automatic generation of tasks. Based on a conversation, the AI analyses the exchanges and suggests a task to be attached directly to the message.
The generated task is fully editable before being posted and can be modified afterwards. Teams can therefore move more easily from discussion to execution, without switching tools.
Automatically generate meeting minutes
Whaller integrates Aristote, an artificial intelligence developed by CentraleSupélec, dedicated to the automatic creation of meeting minutes. During a video conference within a Whaller sphere, simply start the recording — at the end of the session, the AI automatically generates:
- structured meeting minutes
- a full transcript of the discussion (.txt format)
- a video replay (.mp4 format)
These elements are deposited directly within the sphere so that all participants — including those who were absent — can access them at any time.
Summarise important documents
Users can upload a Word or PDF file to the file box within a sphere and automatically receive a clear, concise summary of the document’s key points. The summary is available directly in the sphere, ready to be consulted or shared with the team.
This feature simplifies document management and speeds up decision-making, without the need to read through entire documents.
AI designed with security and sovereignty in mind
Whaller (IA)ssistant has been built following Security by Design principles. Organisations retain full control over the use of AI:
- the feature can be activated or deactivated by the administrator
- choice of AI model: Mistral AI (hosted on mistral.ai) or open-source models operated by OVHcloud
- AI can be disabled within specific sensitive spheres
- explicit user consent required, fully compliant with GDPR
The goal is to offer enhanced collaboration whilst fully respecting security and digital sovereignty requirements.
