What is EUt+?
EUt+ is a network of eight—soon nine—European technical universities aiming to become a single university, enabling students to earn a European qualification.
How did the platform rollout go?
Starting with Whaller was intuitive. UTT coordinators set up the basic structure, created the necessary spheres, and assigned permissions. Once the spheres were in place, it was easy to navigate, create folders, and upload resources online.
How have your students adapted to Whaller?
Whaller serves as a platform for communication among project researchers, staff, and students at our institution. Its flexibility is a major asset. Although we’re not yet using every feature, we’re organising training sessions for staff and participants, preparing for further development.
Which features do you use most?
As project manager, I rely heavily on the file Box—creating folders, updating documents, and viewing version histories. We also use Whaller for online meetings with workpackage teams, organising all project assets in dedicated spheres. Internal communication is streamlined via project-specific groups and ‘The Grand Square’ sphere for shared updates.
How does Whaller help promote EUt+ across your campus?
For our monthly alliance meetings, Whaller is indispensable. It centralises all essential information, streamlining both logistics and coordination.
We maintain a shared sphere, The Grand Square, where key updates are posted and internal project-wide communication takes place.
